30 Day Film Challenge Day 17: Favourite film sequel

My two favourite movie sequels are Toy Story 2 and Jumanji: The Next Level. Normally, I find sequels are never as good as their originals, but these stand out as exceptions to that. I thought Toy Story 2 was better than Toy Story and is my favourite of the four films. Honestly, I think they should have left the series alone after the third film. The third Toy Story movie had a nice closure to the series. Andy is grown up, the toys were passed on to a new owner, all was good and then they just went and said never mind. Jumanji: The Next Level is really well done and I like that they included so many similar elements to the first movie. I ended up seeing Jumanji: The Next Level twice in theatres just with different friend groups. Not just because I wanted to see it again, but because we were late to the Spies in Disguise showtime.
