A film I like that is not set in the current era is 1917. This movie pushes the boundaries of what cinema can be in what they made to look like one seamless shot. The story is incredible and has so much depth to it. I find it is different from a lot of your traditional World War I and World War II movies. I’ve always been a big history nerd and I'm very interested in films like this. It was one of my favourite movies of 2019 and I would definitely recommend it.
