Favourite Cartoon Christmas Movie: Klaus

First, I would like to start by introducing my movie blog challenge which will span the 12 days counting down till Christmas eve! I wanted to do something different for the holidays, but I couldn’t find any film challenges like I've done previously… so I made my own! Welcome to the 12 day Holiday Movie Challenge, a new post every day. 

My favourite cartoon/ animated Christmas movie is Klaus. I watched it for the first time last year and it is such a beautiful and original Christmas story. The first thing that caught my eye about this film is the unique and detailed animation. The story is very well developed and a little darker and more mature than I had originally thought it would be. The film was nominated for Best-Animated Feature Film at the 2020 Oscars but lost to Toy Story 4... and I love Disney but the animation in this film is much more interesting and detailed by comparison. This movie is really funny and is made for everyone. I had no expectations for this movie so it really just went above and beyond for me. Highly recommend it to everyone this holiday season, you can find it on Netflix.
