Holiday Movie Challenge Day 11: 2021 Christmas movie

 

Christmas Movie Released in 2021: Love Hard 

Love Hard is the only Christmas movie released in 2021 that I have watched thus far. It was recommended to me and starred Nina Dobrev (Canadian) and Jimmy O. Yang from Silicon Valley so I thought it can’t be that bad. I was wrong.  It reminds me of every Hallmark Christmas movie ever made. Christmas movies are never actually any good, they are just meant to make us feel happy during the holiday season. I like the actors in it but I don’t feel like it was the right pairing and the message is kind of weird. She basically ends up with the guy who catfished her on a dating app after he guilts her into feeling bad about turning him down. The story doesn’t make a lot of sense. I don’t recommend it unless you like cheesy Christmas rom coms which are in a league of their own of bad movies.
