Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1

Bridgerton Season 3: Trailer, Release Date, Cast, and Everything You Need to Know | Teen Vogue

Finally, season 3 of Bridgerton is here! The last time I watched this show I was hopped up on painkillers after getting my wisdom teeth taken out, so it’s about time.

I love Colin, he’s my favourite male Bridgerton character so I am excited that it is finally his season. The relationship between Penelope and Colin has been teased and so well developed over the past two seasons that it's exciting that they finally get their season. I love the focus on Penelope, she is so much more developed as a character in this season and we get to see many other sides to her. She has always been in the background and has played a much smaller role, so it’s fun to see her take the lead. Nicola Coughlan is such a talented actor and I think she brings so much more to Penelope this season.

Eloise is my favourite character in the whole show. She has an interesting relationship with both Penelope and Colin, so we get a lot more screen time with her. I am curious to see what happens when Colin finds out that Penelope is Lady Whistledown, and if he finds out because of Eloise. Will everyone find out? Just Colin? The Bridgertons?

I found that Francesca’s side story during the social season is boring. I don’t care about her or feel very attached to her. The “social season” part of the plot is getting boring to me since they have done it for the past three seasons. I liked that Anthony and Kate Bridgerton returned at the beginning of this season. We get to see a glimpse into their happily ever after, following last season.

After watching the Bridgerton prequel Queen Charlotte, we now have a better understanding of who she is and where she comes from. Now I wanted to see more of her character in this season. Her character continues to have the best costumes and the best hairstyles.

I can’t wait for part two of this season to drop on June 13th! I knew they’d leave this part on a cliffhanger and I now can’t stop thinking about it. I don’t think this is my favourite season of Bridgerton but I still enjoy the show and was looking forward to this season as it focuses on my favourite characters in the show. If you are still watching Bridgerton or have not seen it before, I do recommend giving it a watch.
