30 Day Film Challenge Day 13: A film that put you in deep thoughts

A film that put me in deep thoughts was Blackkklansman. It was one of those movies that made you think about society. Even though this is a film that takes place in the past, it made you think about society today and the prejudices that still exist. At the end of the movie they showed a video from the 2017 ‘unite the right rally’ led by white supremecists and neo-nazis in Charlottesville, Virginia. It really shows how this isn't a story of the past, it isn’t history, it is still happening today. It was a film that stuck with me for days and every once in a while I’ll think about the movie again. They did such a fantastic job with the film and didn’t shy away from telling or depicting the hard stuff. I go more in depth in my review of the film that I have linked below …
